This project was a full renovation of a two storey red brick cottage in a dilapidated state. The original house was owned and built by a local identity that installed a pool in the centre of the house and was infamous for his pool parties. The house later became 4 flats and the pool was filled in. The owners brief was to turn this run down house into a luxury family home for their ever increasing tribe. The original structure was poorly build so much remedial work was needed. The house was essentially stripped back to a basic shell and extended on the western and eastern sides. Walls and floors partly demolished a completely new roof structure was required. This home is positioned right next to the mouth of the Georges River and looking out to Botany Bay. We constructed an outdoor salt water pool, large balconies to capture the breathtaking views and totally renovated and updated every room. This house now has a large kitchen with luxury appliances and a walk in pantry, 5 bedrooms, Study, Guests bedroom and Lounge, Rumpus Room, Living and Dining areas, Ensuite off the Main Bedroom and 3 Bathrooms. The owners have a magnificent home with high end finishes and modern design. They now enjoy a wonderful living space with amenity of the Sandringham area. |
